Quality Assurance Cycle

The Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) at the Faculty of Psychology, Yogyakarta State University (FP UNY), is implemented continuously through the PPEPP cycle, which consists of Standard Setting, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement. This cycle serves as the foundation for ensuring that higher education activities within FP UNY are conducted in accordance with the quality standards established by the university and applicable laws and regulations.

The implementation of the PPEPP cycle encompasses various quality assurance activities, beginning with the establishment of quality policies and standards, followed by the implementation of education, research, and community service programs, and the evaluation of standard achievement. Evaluation processes are carried out through Internal Quality Audits (AMI), monitoring and evaluation activities (Monev), satisfaction surveys, and other assessment activities. The evaluation results serve as the basis for determining appropriate control measures and follow-up actions to continuously improve the quality of academic and non-academic activities.

The implementation of SPMI at FP UNY is supported by various quality assurance documents and instruments that serve as guidelines for carrying out the PPEPP cycle. These include the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI), PPEPP implementation documents, Internal Quality Audit (AMI) documents, and Electronic Monitoring and Evaluation (E-Monev). These instruments ensure that quality assurance processes are conducted systematically, measurably, properly documented, and continuously improved.

Through the implementation of this quality assurance cycle, the Faculty of Psychology, Yogyakarta State University, is committed to fostering a quality culture and promoting continuous improvement across all aspects of higher education. These efforts are expected to support accountable faculty governance, enhance the quality of academic and non-academic services, and contribute to the achievement of the Faculty of Psychology's vision and mission.
